Spray alcohol is better and more sustainable than gel
Until the pandemic of the H1N1 flu virus in 2009, hand sanitizers weren’t widely used on a daily basis used, regardless of the type. It was the alcohol gel in small bottles that ended up becoming the product to help clean when you couldn't wash your hands. A portable antiseptic. Many people started to carry it in their bags as a “security” item.
The first gel products in the 90's were initially called "soap without water" and indicated used for "washing hands without water". This is not true, because we are not washing but disinfecting - regardless of the term, the “dirtiness” remains.
Today it is the most used product for “cleaning” without water, however, despite the results, it is not possible to replace traditional washing with water and soap with this option. The product can be used after washing
with soap, if you want a total asepsis for your hands and this is perhaps the most guaranteed way of cleaning precisely by disinfecting together.
After more than 25 years in the market, gel gel alcohol has many variants, with scents, oil extracts, etc; however, many of them are of low quality because they
use methanol alcohol which is extremely dangerous and toxic to the skin and the respiratory system; or else they use isopropyl alcohol which is petroleum: it is more useful for cleaning objects, as it is more technical and in many cases it can also be toxic. In addition, many products use "polymers" which are petrochemical substances that make the product a low quality "gel" making products sticky or "crumbly" leaving an unpleasant sensation after use (luscious, sticky, irritated or itchy skin.)
In the industrial and hospital environment and in professional health, 70% liquid alcohol is used for the best asepsis for professionals and also for equipment. This alone shows the greater safety of products that avoid the famous "gel" form.
In recent years, some companies have started selling this type of product to consumers, a 70% LIQUID ALCOHOL in packaging with valves that spray the product, SPRAY, which makes its application highly efficient. It is like painting an object with a brush or with a spray gun: with the spray the “finish” is superior and saves “ink”.
EcoTomorow produces exactly this type of product because we understand its
superiority in the health context and its importance in the new post-covid-19
reality. And as we are a company 100% focused on offering sustainable, safe and efficient products, these are some characteristics that we consider important:
- 100% natural, only plant-based products and from sustainable origin
- 100% neutral and filtered sugar cane alcohol
- We add essential oils, pure, safe and efficient in asepsis as well as in the pleasant use of the products
- 100% sugar cane plastic bottles, currently the most sustainable way on the planet for the use of plastics
- Positive CO 2 footprint as sugarcane removes CO 2 from the atmosphere, while petroleum plastics produce CO 2 , contributing to the greenhouse effect
This type of product has several advantages and a single disadvantage: the cost of sale due to the spray valve that makes SPRAY possible. It is 3x more expensive than a gel cap.
The advantages of our sprays, compared to the disadvantages of ordinary gel alcohol:
Gel | Spray |
Sticky Feeling | Fast Absorption |
Synthetics Scents | Essential Oils |
Dry Hands | Moisturized Hands (glycerin) |
Restricted Use to the Hands | Apply to hands ans surfaces we touch |
Last twice as long | |
100% neutral plant ethyl alcohol without methanol | |
100% eco friendly |
Ultimately, high quality gels are good for the hands, they are great products; however, the spray, in addition to being just as good, yields more and is much more versatile to accompany us in our daily lives. Take it anywhere and apply where necessary ... Have you ever seen someone rubbing alcohol gel on their smartphone screen?
